McCourt Partners released new renderings today for three multifamily housing projects to be developed in Downtown Los Angeles. Together, the projects, located on three properties, will contribute more than 500 much-needed housing units to the region. The Chinatown-based real estate development and management company has submitted plans that will increase the number of units from existing entitlements, as well as provide for an additional 55 Extremely Low-Income (ELI) affordable housing units.

All three properties have been uniquely designed to complement their surroundings through the creation of green space to benefit the community.
- 788 W College Street is a proposed 7-story, 170-unit apartment building, planned to replace an existing commercial building. Plans include the addition of 68 units to those approved in previous entitlements, including 17 ELI affordable units, as well as a generously landscaped space on the property’s hillside and the planting of 40 native tree species.
- 950 Stadium Way is a proposed 6-story, 65-unit apartment building featuring 8 ELI affordable units, planned on vacant land. The property will include a new plaza with community access featuring built-in seating, lush landscaping, and a walking path.
- 959 Stadium Way features two 8-story apartment buildings totaling 267 units including 30 ELI affordable units, also planned on vacant land. The plans include a lushly landscaped interior courtyard featuring ample recreation space.

In keeping with the company’s commitment to the highest levels of sustainability, green building design elements include rooftop photovoltaic solar power systems, expansive roof gardens with stormwater reclamation technology, all-electric appliances, EV parking spots, and added green space.
Like the company’s other projects, each plan is designed to meet the needs of its local community. In Berkeley, California, McCourt Partners, together with Panoramic and Swinerton, will soon break ground on a 39-unit ground-up supportive housing project which will be 100% pre-leased to a local non-profit. The company also recently announced development of a Class-A multifamily project in Henderson, Nevada.
