McCourt Partners and Discovery Land Company Announce Partnership to Develop Residential Community & Equestrian Club in Wellington, Florida

Wellington, FL (August 4, 2024) – McCourt Partners and Discovery Land Company announced today a joint venture partnership to develop a new residential community and equestrian club at Isla Carroll. The 80-acre site is located in the heart of Wellington, Florida, in close proximity to the National Polo Center and Wellington Horse Show Grounds and will deliver 40 residences alongside premium amenities.

These amenities will complement the significant equestrian programming that includes stables, a covered walker, paddocks, riding ring, covered arena, event lawn, and bridle trails. The community will also feature an organic farm and scenic lakes. 

The Isla Carroll property lies within the Village of Wellington’s Equestrian Preserve Area and its planning advances the Village of Wellington’s Comprehensive Plan of “promoting an equestrian community and lifestyle.” The site plan was developed according to the Village’s Equestrian Development zoning code regulations. These regulations are designed to ensure the protection of the equestrian community, a shared goal deeply held by McCourt Partners and Discovery Land Company.
