Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how McCourt Partners Real Estate LLC (“McCourt Partners”, “us,” “we,” “our,”) treats personal information we collect from or about you on the sites and services where this Privacy Policy is posted or is referenced (collectively, “Sites”), and offline where this Privacy Policy is referenced. If you are a California resident, please see Section 6 below for information provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act.

By accessing or using a Site, you confirm that you have read, understand and acknowledge the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. We collect and use personal information from and about you.

We (and the vendors we hire to perform services on our behalf) collect, receive, and develop several categories of personal information about you depending on the nature of your interactions with us. For example:

We collect Contact and Identifier Information. For example, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.

We collect Device, Internet and Network Activity Information. If you use our Site, we may collect information about the browser you are using and your IP address. We may also collect device identifiers, device model or manufacturer, and operating system types. We may look at what website you came from, or what site you visit when you leave us. We may collect page interaction information and other electronic communication and content from your use of the Site (such as content entry, mouse movements, screen captures, what areas of the website you visit and for how long), and methods used to browse away from the page. We may also embed technologies (which may include, for example, web beacons, tags, and pixels) in the emails and other communications we or our vendors send to you to help us understand how you interact with those messages, such as whether and when you opened a message or clicked on any content within the message. We may engage or otherwise permit other parties to also collect information on our Sites in these ways.

We collect Location Information.  We collect information about your general location, using your zip code or postcode and IP address.

We collect Information You Submit. We collect any personal information you provide when you contact us (such as by email, phone, mail, or online) or when you submit responses to inquiries. We also collect information from comments or questions you post on our Sites.

We collect Employment-related Information.  When you apply for a job, we collect personal information you submit as part of your application and resume.

We collect and develop Inferences. Using the other pieces of personal information collected about you, we draw inferences about you, reflecting what we believe to be your preferences, characteristics, predispositions, and attitudes.

2. We use personal information as described here.

We use personal information to respond to your requests or questions. We use your personal information to contact you about your feedback, questions, or other inquiries.

We use personal information to test, analyze, develop, improve and provide our products and services. For example, we may use personal information to develop and improve our Sites and services. We may use your personal information to customize your experience with us and to conduct research and analysis.

We use personal information to comply with our obligations, administer our Site and services and for internal operations. For example, we use personal information to administer the Site, such as troubleshooting, data analysis, surveys and testing.

We use personal information for security, safety and due diligence purposes. We may use personal information to protect our company, our customers, our business partners and their respective personnel or any other person. We also may use personal information to protect our Site, products or services, as well as to detect and investigate activities that may be illegal or prohibited (such as cyber attacks or fraudulent transactions).


We use personal information to verify requests made pursuant to this Privacy Policy and for other verification purposes. 
We will use certain pieces of personal information to verify your identity if you make requests pursuant to this Privacy Policy. The verification steps and the pieces of personal information that we request may vary depending on the sensitivity and nature of your request.

We use personal information for hiring purposes.  We may use personal information to review your job applications and contact you about employment opportunities.

We use personal information as otherwise disclosed from time to time or permitted by law.

3. We and our vendors collect personal information about you from various sources.

We collect personal information directly from you. For example, we collect personal information if you sign up for our emails or contact us. We also collect any personal information you provide if you send a comment, make a request, or respond to an inquiry.

We collect personal information from your devices. We use tracking tools like browser cookies, pixels and web beacons to collect personal information from or about you. We collect this personal information using tracking tools when you interact with our Site, our ads, and our emails that we or our vendors send to you. We collect personal information about users over time and across devices when you use our Site. We may engage other parties to collect personal information this way. We collect personal information from vendors we hire to work on our behalf. For example, vendors that host or maintain our website for us may provide us with personal information. Our due diligence vendors may also provide us with personal information. Our marketing agencies and analytics providers may also provide us with personal information.

We get personal information about you from other sources. Other parties may give us personal information about you. These other parties may include business and marketing partners that give us personal information they have collected either directly or indirectly from you.

We combine personal information. We may combine personal information that we have collected offline with information we collect online. Or we may combine personal information we get from another party with information we already have. We may also aggregate your personal information with other consumers’ personal information to understand preferences and trends over time.

4. We disclose your personal information to third parties.

We may disclose personal information within our family of companies. This includes our parent, subsidiaries and affiliates.

We disclose personal information with vendors and other parties who perform services on our behalf. For example, we may disclose personal information with vendors who send emails for us, help us manage and operate our Site, provide advertising or marketing services, place our advertisements on other platforms, provide analytics and search engine support investigate and prevent data incidents, audit our business and financial statements, vet business opportunities, and provide legal advice.

We may disclose your personal information with our business partners and for marketing purposes.  Some of these parties may send you information about products or services by mail, email, or other marketing channels.

We will disclose your personal information in order to comply with the law or to protect ourselves, our customers and others. We may disclose any or all categories of personal information to respond to a court order or subpoena. We may also disclose this personal information if a government agency or investigatory body requests it. We may disclose your personal information in order to enforce our agreements and to protect the rights of others. We may disclose your personal information when we are investigating potential fraud. This may include fraud we think has happened during a promotion.

We may disclose your personal information with a successor to all or part of our business. If all or part of our business is sold, we may include user information as part of that transaction, which may include some or all categories of your personal information. We may also disclose your personal information if there is a change to our corporate structure. We may also disclose your personal information with others as they conduct diligence.

We may disclose personal information for other reasons we may describe to you from time to time or as permitted or required by law.

5. You have certain choices about how we use your personal information.

You can control certain cookies and tracking tools.  Your browser may give you the ability to control certain cookies and other tracking tools. How you do so depends on the type of tool. Certain browsers can be set to reject browser cookies. If you block cookies, certain features on our Site may not work. If you block or reject cookies, not all of the tracking described here will stop.

We may use third party analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to better understand how users interact with our Sites. You can learn about Google Analytics’ currently available opt-outs and policies at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/. 

Your cookie-related selections are specific to the device, website, and browser you are using. Your selections are deleted whenever you clear your cookies or browser’s cache.

Our “Do Not Track” Policy. Some browsers have “do not track” features that allow you to tell a website not to track you. These features are not all uniform. We do not currently respond to those signals.

6. California Residents’ Privacy Rights.

If you are a California resident, please note the following regarding how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy:

  • We may collect, disclose, and use for our business and commercial purposes categories of personal information as set forth in applicable California law, including: identifiers; customer records information; internet or other electronic network activity information; geolocation data; audio, electronic or visual information; professional or employment information; education information; and inferences. See Section 1 of this Privacy Policy for additional detail. 
  • We collect and use these categories of personal information for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 2 of this Privacy Policy.
  • We collect each of the foregoing categories of personal information from the sources described in Section 3 of this Privacy Policy.
  • We may disclose categories of personal information for our business and commercial purposes to the extent permitted by applicable law to the categories of parties as described in Section 4 of this Privacy Policy.
  • We may “sell” or “share” the following categories of personal information: identifiers and internet or other electronic network activity.  We may “sell” or “share” these categories of personal information to or with the categories of third parties described in Section 4 of this Privacy Policy for the commercial or business purposes described in Section 2 of this Privacy Policy. 

We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is being processed. We also retain information for related business and compliance purposes, security, and dispute handling to the extent permitted or required by applicable law.

California residents can make the following requests with respect to their personal information in accordance with applicable law and subject to exceptions set forth in such applicable law: 

  • Access – You can request that we disclose to you the categories of personal information we collected about you, the categories of sources from which we collected the personal information, the categories of personal information we sold, shared, or disclosed, our business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling or sharing the personal information, the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed the personal information, and the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
  • Deletion – You can request that we delete the personal information that we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Correction – You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information – You can request that we not sell or share your personal information to or with a third party. For purposes of this Section of the Privacy Policy, “sell” means the sale, rental, release, disclosure, dissemination, availability, transfer, or other oral, written, or electronic communication of your personal information to an outside party for monetary or other valuable consideration, subject to certain exceptions in applicable law.  For purposes of this Section of the Privacy Policy, “share” means transferring, making available or otherwise disclosing your personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, subject to certain exceptions in applicable law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of minors under 16 years of age.

We will not discriminate against you because you exercised any of these rights.

If you choose to email us, you must put the statement “Your California Privacy Rights” in the subject field. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity prior to responding to certain of your requests.  The verification steps will vary depending on the sensitivity of the personal information involved.

We may deny certain requests, or fulfill a request only in part, based on our legal rights and obligations. For example, we may retain personal information as permitted by law, such as for tax or other record keeping purposes, to maintain an active account, and to process transactions and facilitate customer requests. 

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.  When submitting the request, please ensure the authorized agent is identified as an authorized agent.

7. Our Sites and services are not intended for those under 18 years of age.

Our Sites and our services are meant for those who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from those under 18. If you are a parent or legal guardian and think your child has given us information, you can contact us at privacy@mccourtpartners.com.

8. We process and store information in the United States.

If you are visiting from outside the United States, note that United States laws may not provide the same level of protections as those in your own country. If you access our Site from outside of the United States, you understand, consent, and agree that we may transfer your personal information to the United States. We may also process, share, transfer and store personal information on servers located in countries other than the United States.

9. We use certain security measures.

The Internet is not 100% secure. Any transmission of your data to our Site is at your own risk. We encourage you to use caution when using the Internet.

10. We may link to third party sites or services we do not control.

If you click on a link to a third party site, you may be taken to a website we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of such websites, which may collect personal information from you. Read the privacy policy of other websites carefully. We are not responsible for these third party websites or their policies.
